惊蛰计划Volunteer Teaching
每年的短期支教项目是我们的旗舰项目，通常在五月末到六月末开展。每年的支教时间通常长于三周。我们的常规参与成员为在美留学生。利用假期时间，我们对硬件设备不差但师资力量（尤其是英语教学）尚有提升空间的偏远地区中学生，提供在英语辅助教学。参与成员会经过面试选拔，考察志愿者在英语水平、教学能力及团队精神方面的素质。尽管在三周时间内，对于改变提高学生的英语课业，我们只能取得有限的进展，但我们旨在以教学为手段，开拓学生眼界、带给学生新知，并使他们对未来有目标，对生活有认识。课堂很小，但世界很大。
Our Jingzhe Project (volunteer teaching program) is our flagship project held annually from late May to the end of June for at least three weeks. Selected groups of students who currently attend high schools and colleges in the U.S. give English classes to junior high school students in remote villages of Wulong, Chongqing. Most of our target schools Wulong are well set with teaching equipment. However, they are in need of a well-trained teaching staff, especially qualified English teachers. Although our ability to make them master a language in three weeks is limited, through our teaching, we aim to plant seeds of hope in their mind like sowers in a spring field: a curiosity about the world and an aspiration to better their lives with knowledge.
